I have been working as a NHS Consultant Psychiatrist in Birmingham for more than 5 years and have extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with mental disorders such as Depression, Paranoid Schizophrenia, Bipolar Affective Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Personality Disorder. I also prepare independent psychiatric reports for the Criminal and Civil Courts. Within criminal cases this includes the diagnosis of mental disorder, fitness to plead and stand trial, psychiatric defences, risk assessment and sentencing recommendations.
I can also prepare reports within civil cases where there is a need to assess mental disorder occurring after personal injury or trauma. I also provide Autistic Spectrum Disorder diagnostic assessments. I am happy to assess patients at my consulting rooms in Edgbaston, Birmingham, at solicitors offices, prisons or within hospitals. I am happy to travel nationwide and aim to provide prompt reports to the highest professional standards.
